по-моему, хорошо получилось, интонация слышится :)

"ухаживать" - I think "make love" does not sound right here, I'd say "flirt with", "court" or "woo"

"не была совершенно заинтересована" - "was not involved" to me sounds like she was not involved in its birth or upbringing, i.e. did not take part in any connected activities. I'd say "she as not thrilled" or "her interest have not been engaged".
